Pool Cleaning Tips - Debris
Debris removal from the pool
The winter debris cover can be effectively cleaned after removing it from the pool. It can be cleaned with the brushing technique and with the help of flushing water over its surface. It’s ideal to roll it up only after completely drying it under the sun because this will keep away the molds.
Surrounding pool cleaning procedure:
It’s mandatory to have a squeaky clean pool surface, the nooks and corners of each and every stone should be cleaned in details. A concoction of chlorine and water works best in cleaning the stone surfaces. The solution should be brushed effectively over the surface and then allowed to soak for a few minutes. After that, brushing it rigorously and flushing it with clean water gives the best results.
Tile band cleaning
The use of appropriate cleaning products is advisable because they are gentle on the surface of the pool. The tile band should be cleaned only with the correct tile cleaning product.
Vacuuming the swimming pool is the most interesting part of the whole cleaning procedure. The pool hose has to be filled with pool water with the skimmer still attached to the basket. The vacuuming point is then connected to begin vacuum cleaning the pool.
The PH balance
A correct pH balance is a must for the chlorine to work efficiently. Hence, it is always advisable to maintain the exact pH balance throughout the water, which is between 7.2 to 7.6. A test kit is used to check the pH balance of the water before dissolving the chlorine in it. Make sure to read the instructions for the test kit.
24 hour gap and then a re-test schedule
The step by step cleaning and checking procedure ensures crystal clear pool water which is super hygienic. But, maintenance does not end here. It’s very important to keep on the right balance of the pool water throughout the months to come. The Ph balance and the appropriate addition of chlorine solution will ensure wonderful pool water and an exquisite swimming experience.
